iCalFailsToStart

Background

 

iCal worked fine until one day I opened a meeting attachment from an email and someothing got messed up. Now it starts very briefly and then crashes. This was only about 1 month after I bought the MacBook.

 

Symptoms

 

Dock

 

When starting iCal from the Dock, the icon bounces only once and then stops.

 

Terminal

 

When starting iCal from Terminal, here is what happens:
