Background
I don't know what I did to deserve this. One day it just would not start. I have very few songs there, have not used the iTunes Store etc. This happened only 2 months after I bought the MacBook from the Apple Store.
Symptoms
Dock
When starting iTunes from the Dock, the icon bounces only once and then stops.
Terminal
When starting iTunes from Terminal, here is what happens:

Solution
Installing the automatic iTunes upgrade to version 7.3.1 fixed it.
